
On the 16th of October 2019 at Science and Technology Park Belgrade the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre organised a conference to present the Serbia’s Smart Specialisation Strategy (4S) together with the opportunities and challenges for sectoral specialisation of Science and Technology Parks (STPs), Accelerators and Incubators in the broader region of South-East Europe. The two-day event was co-organised together with EU4TECH Western Balkans on 15th and 16th of October at the Science Technology Park Belgrade. On the second day, participants discussed the role of Science Parks and incubators in the Western Balkans and South-East Europe regions can play in supporting emerging Smart Specialisation priorities.
Health Tech Lab participated on the second day where Ivana Kostić, the Co-Founder, had a chance to present the work and future activities together with Kata Szaloki from EIT Health InnoStars, European Institute of Innovation and Technology, Anders Iversen, Innovation Manager, InCluSilver (SME innovation and learning points from the silver economy), Lorenzo Rossi from ADRIAINCUBATOR and Staša Stanković, from Imagine IF! Serbia. The moderator of the panel was mister Bernhard Fabianek from Horizon Association Unit at Directorate-General for Research and Innovation within European Commission.
